Summary of Job Duties:
The Advancement Assistant will provide general support to full-time staff in the areas of University Advancement, Alumni Relations, Media Relations, and External Communication. Specific duties include but are not limited to event setup and facilitation; oversight of social media campaigns; regular communication with visitors, friends and/or alumni audiences, reception duties, data reporting, cordial telephone and email correspondence, and other duties as assigned. Reliable transportation to and from the Monticello campus is essential. Availability for occasional evening and weekend work is required.

Baccalaureate degree required. All applicants must be admitted or eligible for admission into an accredited graduate program of study and enrolled in classes or planning to enroll for Fall 2021 at an institution of choice. UAM conducts background checks on all employees.
