Cybersecurity Program Coordinator
Summary of Job Duties:
The Cybersecurity Projects Coordinator assists in the development, coordination, and implementation of cybersecurity programs, projects, education, training, and administrative tasks associated with the Criminal Justice Institute’s (CJI) grant programs by performing duties personally or by working with other program employees. This position is governed by CJI and the University of Arkansas policy and procedures and state and federal law.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements upon approval of the Director of the Criminal Justice Institute.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of two years of professional industry work experience in cybersecurity.
Some experience with vulnerability management, event management, security operations, incident management, and security reporting.
Experience designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of cybersecurity and/or technical grant programs preferred.
Experience in managing multiple grants and meeting related deadlines preferred.
Knowledge of local area networking.
Experience or knowledge about working in a virtual computing environment.
Professional certification in the information security field (Preferred).
Frequent nationwide travel is required.

Ability to work with and coordinate a diverse team of computer personnel.
Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource and organizational management, administrative, budgetary, and academic practices and procedures.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct the work of lower-level managers, supervisors, and non-supervisory employees.
Ability to estimate cost, time, staffing, equipment, and material to support current or planned programs, projects, and operations.

To low $60,000s commensurate with education and experience.
