City of Bentonville, Arkansas
Acts as the Chief Financial Officer of the City. Leads the financial management of all City departments and is a direct report to the Mayor. Serves as lead person on projects which require a “Team Approach” and inter-department coordination. Responds to City Council legislated action by ensuring that necessary administrative functions of the City are carried out in a professional and timely manner.
Manages key staff who supervise a total of 20 -25 employees in respective departments of Accounting, Purchasing, and Utility Billing.
Fifth year college or university program certificate in business, accounting, or a related field and seven (7) to Ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Public Finance Officer (CPFO) Certification preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• 10 Years of governmental finance experience is preferred.
