Grant Funded Position
A non-profit organization for people with disabilities is seeking a full-time Advocate Specialist. The Specialist will provide technical assistance to and on behalf of persons with disabilities for the purpose of promoting and fostering their independence. The position does require in state travel and be computer literate. The position offers medical, dental, life and vision insurance benefits, 12 paid holidays, and paid time off as well.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in sociology, rehabilitation counseling, psychology or related fields is preferred; however, an Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in one of those disciplines will be accepted with one-year experience of working with people with
disabilities.
