Advocate Manager & Receptionist Clerk
Employment Announcement: A Central AR Disability Organizations has an opening for two full time positions, to provide support and technical assistance to persons with disabilities and its staff. The Advocate Manager position will be responsible for providing the Center’s Core Services upon request, as well as assisting the elderly in our service area with individual and system advocacy, community outreach and etc. This position is responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of the organization, and the individuals that the agency serves in central Arkansas. This is a small non-profit organization that has been in operations since 1987. The Advocate Manager’s position is vital to the overall operation of the agency. The applicant for this position, needs to have one to two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities, working with a social service organization, and have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in rehabilitation counseling, sociology, social work, and other related fields is preferred.
The Receptionist Clerk position, is responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors, the monitoring of vital records and office supplies and clerical duties as needed. Interested persons must have the following education criteria, and or abilities: A High School Diploma, two years of related work experience, excellent communication skills, computer literacy skills and possess the ability and the capability to prioritize tasks and pass a criminal background check.
