Foundation 2 Crisis Services provides 24/7 life-saving phone, chat, text and in-person crisis response services to individuals from all walks of life throughout Iowa. In addition to our life-saving work, we also provide training, consultation and advocacy on suicide prevention and crisis intervention throughout the communities we serve.
Overview of the role
This position provides services under Foundation 2’s Mobile Crisis Outreach Program. The primary role of the Adult Case Manager is to conduct follow-up calls after a crisis in order to connect clients with resources to support their mental health. Case managers are also dispatched to residences, hospitals, schools, or anywhere that community members may be experiencing a mental health crisis. This position will be responsible for program outreach and community engagement within the East Central Region.

What you’ll do:
- Provide case management services for individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues.
- Conduct follow-up calls and track quality assurance data for program evaluation.
- Respond to crisis dispatches within the East Central region during scheduled hours.
- Assist individuals and families with connection to local resources and community providers.
- Complete required documentation in a timely manner.
- Maintain client files in accordance with program policies.
- Foster positive relationships with community partners and conduct community outreach to promote Mobile Crisis services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field required.
- 1-3 years of full-time related experience in the mental health field.
- Crisis intervention and/or counseling experience preferred.
- Ability to pass all background checks completed by Foundation 2
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by Foundation 2’s automobile insurance
Compensation & Benefits
- $15-17/hr + $12,000 in flexible benefit dollars
- $1000 sign-on bonus

Salary: $15.00 - 17.00 hourly
