PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Excellent opportunity for a qualified individual to coordinate and produce video content. Research, plan, produce, and direct specific, assigned programming for the system's local origination channel and internal communications.
Requirements
EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, AND PEOPLE SKILLS:
Minimum of Associate’s degree (AA); 12-18 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Quick learner, who works well with others, and able to handle pressure/deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong reasoning and creative problem-solving skills.
TECHNICIAL SKILLS:
A demonstrated ability to use job-specific and industry standard software and hardware.
Knowledge of television programming concepts, principles, methodology, and techniques.
Ability to formulate broadcast programming concepts and to plan, develop, and implement live and/or pre-recorded television programs.
Knowledge of television production set design principles and techniques.
Knowledge of professional audio/video and staging techniques, facilities, and equipment.
Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
Knowledge of audio/video tape storage and archiving procedures.
OTHER:
Must have a valid Arkansas Drivers License and a good driving record.
Ability to work effectively during periods of time constraints.
Ability to work flexible work week and non-standard hours when required.
Summary
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and develop assigned local programming for system's local origination channel and other television programming as might be required.
Research and develop ideas; write scripts; schedule and facilitate shoots; recruit talent and crew; design sets and lighting; and edit project(s) to completion.
Produce and direct local origination programming as assigned.
Provide training and direction in operation and maintenance of equipment.
Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of production equipment, including cameras, switcher, editing equipment and other.
Assist in the design of audio and video production facilities, including recommending equipment types and models.
Act as clients' primary point of contact on assigned production.
Transport, set up, and operate various television production equipment including cameras, camera control units, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and studio production
