CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Conway Corporation is seeking a qualified professional to direct the organization’s budgeting, financial planning, and accounting practices.
APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:
4 year college degree; and,
7 years related experience and/or training; plus
6 years related management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, power supply markets, etc. preferred.
CPA and MBA preferred.

Description
Direct the organization's budgeting, financial planning, and reporting as well as the accounting practices. Determine pricing for products and services from cost of service and rate design studies. Maintain and develop relationships with lending institutions and the financial community. Provide leadership and direction for the corporation's safety programs, cyber security programs, billing systems and processes, and NERC/SERC compliance.

Requirements
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assess the organization's financial position and issue periodic reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth.
Analyze, consolidate, and direct all accounting procedures along with other statistical and routine reports.
In conjunction with Controller and Staff, assure annual operating and maintenance budgets are completed and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
Analyze operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole organization, and determine their financial impact.
Advise the Chief Executive Officer on all financial activities of Conway Corporation.
Oversee the calculation of the cost of power adjustment monthly.
Oversee safety programs.
Oversee cyber security programs.
 

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

4-year college degree, and
7 years related experience and/or training, plus 6 years related management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, power supply markets, etc. preferred.
CPA and MBA preferred.
OTHER:            

Strong interpersonal skills, in order to work effectively and professionally with the board of directors, colleagues, managers, and vendors.
Must be comfortable supervising a large group of employees (25+) who are engaged in diversified activities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with an emphasis toward customer service and the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to use job-specific software.
Ability to work nonstandard hours when required.
