Research Program Coordinator
Research Program Coordinator: The Little Rock VA, through its non-profit (Biomedical Research Foundation) is in immediate need of a Research Coordinator. It is preferred that the incumbent have clinical research experience and at least a BS level degree in a health science, such that they can answer patient and provider questions about the specific ongoing trial, as well as participate in the educational efforts. These efforts include direct patient education (in-person or by phone), documenting educational outreach in electronic health record notes, ability to place orders for provider co-signature, Project management skills, comfortable with use of MS Word, Excel, and Access. Candidates without clinical research experience will be considered, however the candidate must have a sound background in science and the ability to communicate clearly one-on-one with patients.
