ASU Three Rivers Malvern, Arkansas, is seeking a talented, visionary Director for the High School Career Center located on the Malvern campus. This is a high visibility leadership position working directly with a team of successful-minded educational leaders in a fast-paced environment.
The Director is responsible for the oversight and daily operations of the center, curriculum and instruction of the programs of study, and developing relationships with local businesses and industry for partnerships to benefit the students.
This is a full-time position, 12-month contract.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Excellent organizational & communication skills.
Proficient use of technology; various software and platforms.
Adaptable to innovation and new methodologies, creative, and solution oriented.
Required Education and Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree required
EXPERIENCE: At least three years of secondary teaching or administrative experience (in areas including, but not limited to, teaching, supervision, and administration) at the secondary or post-secondary levels.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Successful completion of pre-employment background checks, and drug screening.
EDUCATION: Master’s degree or higher
CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES: Current Arkansas teaching license or a technical permit in a Career and Technical Education area.
EXPERIENCE: Supervisory experience in a career center, community college, or administrative experience in a 9-12 school setting. Experience in providing professional development & training to staff.
