KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate power tools, and reports on maintenance and repairs needed in maintaining facilities.
Formulate comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for both facilities and equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Lead in strategic planning efforts by delivering critical insights and recommendations regarding the status of equipment, the necessity for maintenance or replacement, and potential purchasing requirements.
Perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks, including, but not limited to:
Building maintenance - building wooden structures, painting, floor finishing, etc.
Utility maintenance - replacing faulty plumbing fixtures, repairing broken pipes, replacing electrical fixtures and receptacles, servicing refrigeration units, etc.
Fleet maintenance - rebuilding small motors, overhauling carburetors, tuning up vehicles,
Maintain records and prepare reports, including vehicle utilization, equipment history, and materials purchased.
Minimum Qualifications
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
Two years of experience in general maintenance
Desired Qualifications
Two years of vocational technical training in maintenance operations.
